Windmaker is an ambient weather widget that applies the current wind conditions to (almost) any Web site. Visitors are invited to submit a post code and a Web address. Windmaker uses the post code to fetch live wind conditions for that locale. It then parses the submitted Web site into individual pieces such as text blocks and images. Finally, Windmaker sets these pieces in motion according to the current strength of the wind.

World Science Festival 2009 “Time Since Einstein” event. Albert Einstein shattered previous ideas about time, but left many pivotal questions unanswered: Does time have a beginning? An end? Why does it move in only one direction? Is it real, or something our minds impose on reality?
These videos set up the 3 parts of the conversation between John Hockenberry, Fotini Markopoulou, Sean Carroll, George Ellis, David Albert and Roger Penrose, by explaining the difference between time as described by Newton and Einstein.
